Program Night — Summer Adventures

Al and Patty Hoerig traveled to Oaxaca, Mexico during August. The Hoerigs will share their adventures in Oaxaca and discuss what they learned about traditional Oaxacan weaving.
Mickey Stam, Meg Wilson and Inga Marie Carmel attended the 2019 Contemporary Handweavers of Texas Conference which took place May 29th through June 2nd in Fort Worth. Mickey will show images of CHT exhibits that she enjoyed and the sculptural weaving workshop that she took. Meg Wilson will share materials from the workshops she attended on weaving origami and wearable art. Marie will share what she learned in the Shadow Weave workshop, as well as a preview of the Jacquard course she did in France last spring.
