Program Night — Textured Art Yarn Spinning Study Group Presentation

The Textured Art Yarn Spinning Study Group will provide the program for our WSSA meeting on Thursday, October 10th. The program will include a review their year-long adventure in learning new and interesting spinning techniques.
Following a short presentation, they will demonstrate several techniques and provide samples of knitted, crocheted, and handspun weaving items. The Textured Art Yarn Spinning Study Group will inspire you to learn to spin or to join the group if you already know how to spin. You will be inspired to use some of these fabulous handspun yarns in your weaving and their presentation will build your appreciation for spinning.
Throughout the presentation, the group will demonstrate passion for their art and WSSA members will appreciate the various handspun yarns they have produced. After all, all yarn used in weaving is spun before it becomes yarn!Come at 6:30 pm for socializing, with the meeting starting at 7:00 pm. Remember to bring your show and tell! The spinning circle will be active as usual and the library will be open for reading or checking out of materials. If you have any other projects you’d like to work on, feel free to bring them instead, the more the merrier.
