Inspiration from the 1950’s: Handwoven Swatch Periodicals
A new publication exploring notable weavers and several weaving periodicals of the 1950s, this limited hand-bound edition includes new interpretations of the vintage drafts with actual woven swatches. It will be available for purchase on our website and at our booth at HGA’s Convergence 2026.

Innovative Weaving: A Guide for Study Groups
Mickey Stam, a master weaver and former president of the Weavers and Spinners Society of Austin, Texas, designed this book specifically to help weavers and fiber artists push the boundaries of traditional craft.
Each chapter of Innovative Weaving: A Guide for Study Groups provides material for a twelve-month course of study meant to be used by guilds and solo fiber artists to break out of creative ruts.
Newsletters
The guild’s newsletter has been published almost continuously since 1972. Today the newsletter is published six times a year and welcomes articles from both members and non-members alike.
