The guild’s newsletter has been published almost continuously since 1972. Today the newsletter is published five times a year and welcomes articles from both members and non-members alike.
All guild members receive the newsletter as part of their regular dues. A digital archive is being made available to guild members (as a benefit of membership), covering the time period from 1987 to the present. Physical copies of the period 1987 – 2003 are also available to view in the guild Library.

December 20th (for the January/February issue)
February 20th (for the March/April issue)
April 20th (for the May/June issue)
June 20th (for the July/ August issue)

We’re looking for printed copies of newsletters from our founding organization, Weavers Cooperative Association, which would have been published from September of 1972 to April of 1984. We’re also looking for physical copies of any Weavers & Spinners Society of Austin newsletters from April of 1984 to August of 1987. If you might have any of these in a file cabinet, or box in storage, please get in touch!
