Please check the Google group before going, in case of Texas weather (blistering heat, torrential rain, etc.) we may move to an indoor location.
We are having our annual potluck picnic outside at one of the long picnic tables in the Kingsbury Commons area (right off of Kingsbury Street) in Pease Park. Everyone is welcome; bring a friend!
The party is also a potluck, so bring something: main, side, dessert or drinks. We’ll provide the plates, cups, napkins and utensils. We’ll also dedicate one end of the table to a show-and-tell, so bring those pieces you’ve been dying to let people see in person.
Please Note: we’re starting earlier to give everyone a wider range of time to arrive and enjoy the park. Parking is available, though extremely limited. There is a Capital Metro Bus 5 stop located nearby at MLK and Lamar.
