What are Supplemental Warps? Join us as Deb Essen introduces us to some of the textiles we can create. She’ll be presenting an overview of how to weave with supplemental warps – without a second back beam! – and sharing some of the tips, tricks and techniques she’s developed that make supplemental warp weaving fun.
Deb Essen is the author of “Easy Weaving with Supplemental Warps” (Interweave Press 2016). Deb completed HGA’s Certificate of Excellence, Level 1 (2004) and is an inducted member of the Montana Circle of American Masters in Folk and Traditional Arts (2011). Five videos, ranging from supplemental warps to profile drafting are available through Long Thread Media. She has written multiple feature articles for Handwoven and Little Looms magazines.
