Demonstrations

Guild members will be demonstrating how new technology intersects with our ancient arts forms via:

  • computer assisted weaving;
  • designing fabrics with weaving software;
  • experimenting with dyeing methods on new and old fibers;
  • using electric spinners to create everything from fine yarns to art yarns;
  • and more! See our complete event and demonstration schedule.

E-Spinner Contests

Our spinners are competing in two events using electric spinners for their entries. There will be awards for the fastest, the longest, the fastest rate, and the most attractive yarns.
