1:00 pm to 3:00 pm CDT
We’re having a special Saturday presentation to kick off September!
So many guild members have been away – at conferences, taking weaving or spinning or dyeing classes, or just making things this summer. Let’s get together, reconnect, and take a peek at what some members have been up to.
Barbara Larson will start us off, talking about some of the rugs she’s made this summer. Marie Carmel will tell us all about what she “learned from Winnie Poulsen and other Swedish adventures” and Elizabeth Palmer will keep the travel theme going with a recap of her textile tour to Indonesia “and a few other things”.
Then we get to celebrate our own Pam James who won third place at Convergence® 2024 in the Explorers of Wind, Wagons, and Wheat Mixed Media Exhibit. Mickey Stam will talk more about what she saw and learned and did at Convergence.
Didn’t get to sign up? We’ll have some time at the end for some last-minute Show-and-Tell.
Don’t forget – this is a additional SATURDAY program to share our summers and socialize. Our regular September programming night will follow at on its usual second Thursday night of the month.
This program night will be in Zoom only, with no in-person gathering.
