Would you like to have more control of the “hand” of your weavings? Susan Fricks of Yarnorama will lead a 2-day workshop where we will explore sett using various setts and materials to produce balanced cloth, discussing variables that affect drape and how to use sett to get exactly the cloth you want. We will work in a round robin and weave samples with commonly used materials, like 8/2 and 8/4 cottons.
Four- or 8-shaft looms are needed, with a weaving width of at least 10″.
Tuition is $225 for the two days. Material fee of $15 to be paid in class.
Members registration until August 1. On August 2nd, we will open the class up to other guilds.
