The guild’s Hands-on Meeting is restarting this month and will be in person. Meetings take place on the 4th Thursday of the month, so mark your calendar for future meetings.
From time to time we will have a specific project for the evening, but generally these meetings are a time to come together to work on individual projects, visit and get some fiber related help – so bring your spinning, weaving, knitting. The library is always open on Hands-On Night. We have added some wonderful new books and magazines to our collection, so come take a look.
The mask mandate at the Austin Recreation Center has been lifted and mask wearing is voluntary. Currently the transmission rates in Travis County are at Stage 2, which is considered low. We will monitor the Travis County dashboard a few days prior to each meeting in case we need to make any changes.
