The Pioneer Festival at the Wells Branch Homestead

This is one of those little gems in Austin. The park is very pleasant and the festival is just plain fun. There will be several exhibits and things to try out such as making butter (at least that is what rumor has it). Of course, some of the guild members will be there demonstrating spinning, weaving, and braiding. I love the diversity of the people who attend….young, old and if you listen carefully you will hear more than one language being spoken. So, come join the fun. Oh, did I mention the buffalo? The kids will love it!
